Fun hike
Jun 2021
Fun hike. Kids' (13 and 9) favorite part of the trail (besides the arch, of course) were 2 sections with the support ropes especially the one with steep incline/descent and ladder. We saw people carry their dogs down that portion since it was too steep for them to come down.

Great hike outside of the park--
May 2021
This was the first hike we did after arriving in Moab. We wanted to avoid Arches NP on the weekend due to huge crowds so we did this hike and it was beautiful. Wasn't crowded at all when we hit the trailhead at 7:30am We basically had the arch to ourselves for a good 1/2 hour to just sit and enjoy the beauty of it. Easy hike with one sketchy section with a ladder and a chain but totally doable.

Beautiful hike to an impressive arch.
May 2021
The hike to the arch is a little technical with cables and ladders needed to reach the arch. The trail after the ladder will be difficult for those with balance issues or a fear of heights. The slickrock at this point is wide and flat, but slopes down to an edge that is unguarded, You can get a good view of the arch without proceeding. As a bonus, Bowtie arch is also easily visible.

Great trail

The Potash road is a great 4wd trail with great scenery including the Corona Arch. The road ends in the Canyonlands National Park.

Evening Hike
Apr 2021
The hike to Corona Arch is a beautiful, moderate hike. There are some steeper sections where people with mobility issues may have problems. These sections have a ladder and cables anchored into the rock to provide assistance. The trail is mostly well marked by green paint every 10-15 feet on the rock below your feet. We hiked it up at sunset, hung around the arch, then proceeded back past the ladder just before dark. We relaxed about 1/2 back to the parking area to enjoy the wonderful stars and minimal light pollution. Overall a wonderful hike.

Worth the hike
Apr 2021 • Couples
This was my second time to Moab and 2nd time doing this hike. It's one of my favs. It's an easy to moderate hike that I would suggest bringing water as there is little shade. I've gone early morning both times and it's never been overly packed. If you only do one hike, this is it!

Don't miss it!

This might have been one of my favorite hikes of the entire trip! It is not inside Arches National Park, but a short drive outside of town. We saw many rock climbers on the drive to this arch. The parking area for Corona was large, and we were able to find a spot around 10:30 AM on Wednesday during our March Spring Break. Very fun hike with a ladder and some short ropes. Don't miss this!

Excellent hike

Excellent hike. Not super busy - but a stunning hike with varied landscape. Took about 3 hours roundtrip.

*As a general reminder, please do NOT make rock stacks unless you making them to give directions to people. They are for giving directions - not for random decorations (that ruin nature).

The Arch is stunning!! A must visit

Our family really had a nice time at this and the other Utah National Parks last fall. All of them were just stunning and as someone from the Northeast originally, there was nothing else that I have seen that compares.

nice hike

Nice in and out hike to a beautiful arch. Two short steep places with foot steps and a cable in the rock and a ladder bolted to the rock but worth the hike.
