There are sharks and rays in a long tunnel through the huge aquarium. Divers put on displays of starfish. There are lots of buttons to push for kids and petting tanks. Lots of fun.

Wanted something to do with tropical storm Olivia make some rain threats. It was a fun time, really enjoyed the sea turtle film and the aquarium tunnel.

Made a stop here on our way back to Kahului airport. Spent about 90 minutes and saw all the exhibits (although none of the special presentations). They have a nice variety of large tanks and small. They also have lots of displays explaining the Hawaiian...More

The ocean center is an excellent place to gain an appreciation of the uniqueness of the Hawaiian Marine Ecosystem its reefs and Marine life, especially all those species endemic to the Hawaiian Islands

I checked with my 15 year old daughter who enthusiastically said yes. The only ones I remembered were the ones they were raising that we saw in the behind the scenes tour. Enjoy!

Not at the aquarium. The snorkeling tour you pre book your tickets.

3 hours is plenty. But if course it all depends on the kids attraction to the exhibitions.
