Used to love coming here for the kids to enjoy the amazing tree. Last visit was overwhelmed by homeless, incapacitated, and aggressive people approaching my family. Scared my child enough that we had to leave. Open and obvious drug use was uncomfortable. Too bad for...More

What we thought was a grove of trees turned out to be one massive banyan. It's absolutely beautiful and a great place to take a breather from all the fun activity on Front Street.

Parked in adjacent lot to park. UNBELIEVABLE- how immense that tree really is! And the history found in the Court House really is inspiring.

This is a beautiful spot for a romantic stroll and a photo op! We got some anniversary pictures here, and we couldn’t believe how big it was!

We loved coming back to this square with our young children. We would grab a shave ice from Banyan Treats across the road, and eat it in the shade of the gorgeous banyan tree - it was easily 5 degrees cooler! It was nicest in...More

We were in downtown Lahaina 3 days ago, and had to stop by to see this beautiful tree! It is amazing how large it actually is! What a wonderful part of nature. A must see when you visit Lahaina.

Kind of cool looking, my daughter said reminded her of Avatar. Don’t come here just for the tree though. If you do, make sure to take in the shops on Front Street.

I don't know the answer to your question but if you can remember any store or restaurant names where he was around, I would call them and ask for help. If it was in the park, try calling the old courthouse.
