Bring a trash bag with you and collect some of the fish nets and other plastics that wash up here. Will make you feel great and it should give you a sense of helping the turtles that you will see just off the shore.

This is quite a site, and you need 4 wheel drive for the last part of the drive. In any case, do not go out on the sand to avoid an expensive tow (we were warned this is one of the most common tow-out places...More

It's worth visiting this beach just to see the open view of the ocean on the way down the mountain. a lot of washed up debris on the beach. Not for swimming, but worth seeing,

Great views. A bit of a walk from the parking spot but you are rewarded with awesome pics and a serene isolated beach. Make sure you get your Jeep from John at Lanai jeep rental.net!

We visited the island for the first time, renting a jeep to explore it. We were curious what the Maui-facing side of the island was like so we drove over there. It is a very long drive on a long, twisting road. The last 30-45...More

The rock is the best photograph of this visit to shipwreck beach. From the rock, there is no clear way to shipwreck beach. You have to climb over slick boulders or go through prickly thorn paths to get there...and when you arrive the beach is...More
