This is not a nice beach at all - there are much nicer beaches other places on Kauai. Too many nude weirdos. The beaches at Poipu are much nicer, and more accessible.

Saw reviews in a guidebook that rated this beach very highly. We were disappointed from two perspectives. The first was that everyone else we saw on the beach had taken all their clothes off... and NONE of them should ever do that outside the privacy...More

You have to take a poorly marked gravel access road and then it's a short hike down a steep hill (not good when it's wet) to get to the beach. It's a nice, long beach and very secluded and quiet. We saw very few other...More
