Whenever I’m on vacation, I always try to find an ATV adventure. I’ve gone ATV-ing in Kauai a couple of times, Costa Rica, at the Grand Canyon, and usually my husband drives and I ride along. At Aloha Farms, I had the option to either ride along with a guide or Drive my own ATV — and this time I drove my own! I don’t have a lot of experience doing that, but they had really great, safe machines, and it was relatively easy to get up and running in no time. I had a huge smile on my face the whole time we were traversing the beautiful scenery on this working farm. It was some of the most fun terrain - even going over broken up lava — it was exhilarating, and I always felt safe. Our guides lead us through Polynesian history that was interesting and fun. Warning: if mosquitoes love you, make sure you wear bug spray!
My husband and I brought a friend with us, so the three of us were on individual ATVs that did not disappoint. We’re all over age 60 so our bodies were a tad sore that day, but fine the next — and if I can do it YOU can do it! YOU’LL LOVE IT!!!
