Gourmet items in the antique district.
Oct 2019 • Couples
It actually seems somewhat out of place in the antique shopping district. Still it’s nice to have gourmet food items in Huntington. Since we were just traveling through the area checking out the antique shops we took a peek in here. Sure, it’s a bit pricey and perhaps it’s a place to shop for those special holiday gatherings and other special occasions. Although we didn’t purchase anything we thought that they had some interesting pasta selections that looked tempting.

Nice little store with friendly person working. It was one of only three stores open at 10am on a Wednesday. Lots of stores but not open :( for businesses. I guess this has become a problem.

Terrible meat
Jun 2017 • Couples
I bought lamb chops that turned out to be the fattest, tasteless chops I've ever had. Also bought tenderized pork, i.e. pork cube steaks. Tough and tasteless. The produce was okay but seem to spoil too quickly if`it was fresh.

The Wild Ramp - a Gem in West Huntington
Jun 2017
The Wild Ramp is an unexpected jewel! The staff is knowledgeable and helpful and the selection of nearby grown foods is great. You will love the jams and jellies - but don't miss the meats and fresh produce. There is free parking - and every so often an antique market is held.

Really worth going

Has great coffee and fresh cookies, muffins, etc. It is a co-op store selling fruits, vegetables, grains and homemade goodies all from local farms. Has large selection of freshly frozen meats from local farms, too. On weekends it has a farmers market behind it, also.

Excellent coffee, freshest veggies

This place is a gem. Silver Bridge Coffee, delicious eggs, freshest eggs, and local goods. It's always interesting to see what you'll find in the Wild Ramp. The Farmer's Market is wonderful. I love the location, sitting in a quaint area among the antique shops I need to explore. Drop in and see what it's all about!

Hoping for more

Came in for local honey- none to be found. I was really excited to visit this store and was sadly disappointed. Items are very, very pricey. I get it- gotta support local farmers-but I gotta keep the lights on too. One medium size bag of kale was $5.00. For the amount I use- that one bag would have lasted one day. I will definitely try this store one more time. I am still hopeful that as the weather improves the prices will become more reasonable. Staff is super friendly and it IS a quaint store. I hope things improve and it remains in business.

Hi Robin! So glad you liked the market! I apologize for lack of honey in February. We are a farmers market and can only sell items like produce and honey when it is in season locally. We support local growers and producers by operating a market they can sell there goods directly to the local community. We hope you'll continue to help support local growers!

The store offers a large variety of local goods. fresh vegetables, frozen farm raised meats, jams, jellies and other types of canned goods.
staff was okay, they were busy setting up for a private event, so they didnt spend too much time greeting guests as they walked around the shop.

Fresh vegetables!
Jun 2015 • Friends
This shop is a very interesting place. They not only have a true Farmer's Market outside every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning from July to October, they also sell fresh vegetables at reasonable prices in the store. They also sell mixes, jams, etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful and make the experience great!
