Beautiful spot

I have been here many times over the years. It is currently closed because of Covid, but just looking at the covered bridge, mill and river is beautiful.

Beautiful spot
Jan 2021 • Couples
Although I went when the mill itself was closed, this is a beautiful area to visit. There is a trail on the opposite side of the creek from the mill that is short, but gorgeous. It’s out of the way, so during the week when it’s closed, there are few, if any, people around. The covered bridge leading to the mill is very cool.

Grist Mill
Oct 2019
I live just a few miles away and every once in a while I will take the back roads to go through the grist mill especially during the fall. I haven't been when I was actually open for a while but last time I did they were nice and friendly. It's well worth the trip to come and see it especially during the fall it's really beautiful there.

Awesome, scenic location. A photographic gem

My wife and I visited here on a beautiful fall day. There are a number of places around the mill where you can capture great photos. Just a little off the beaten path, but well worth the trip.

A wonderful trip back in time.

We found this quite by accident. We were just driving and looking at the houses for sale. The old time mill sits above a cute little river that has numerous small falls. It is a beautiful setting for pictures.

Lovely old mill in the country
Nov 2018
I saw photos from a friend a few weeks prior to going and thought: I have to go! Glad I did. We happened to visit the Cedar Creek Grist Mill during their fall celebration. They were making fresh apple cider & had a bluegrass/folk jam in the adjacent room. We bought some freshly milled grain, which made wonderful bread. We were there Oct. 2018

Even on a Rainy Day
Oct 2019
It was a very rainy day with everything sparkling with the dampness. Had fun taking some photos and walking on the trails by the creek. Ample parking, clean roads, and nice covered area behind the mill.

A great Mothers' Day afternoon!
May 2019 • Couples
Knowledgeable volunteers run this 1876 grist mill on weekend afternoons. Grinding grain into flour the way it was done for centuries. The volunteers explained the process, demonstrated the process and handed out bags of cornmeal, pancake flour and bread flour. There is even a covered bridge across the river. We had a delightful time (and we took our dog with us)!

So lovely
Sep 2018 • Family
The Grist Mill Cider Press was a great experience for my family. My children got to try different tools and sample cider. There were shuttles in place to get from our car to the Mill and back. The music was great.
