On a clear day the views of Mount Rainier were incredible. Beautiful zoo, nice habitats, animals well cared for. New aquarium was lovely- I literally sat down in front of one of the larger aquariums and was mesmerized by the fish. Highly recommend.

Very disappointed! Went with 3 generations, including pregnant woman and toddler in stroller. Lots of walking with all the switchbacks and beautiful foilage but not a good zoo. Small, crowded exhibits with too many empty. Only one monkey? No giraffes or hippos or lions. No...More

The Christmas light display at the Zoo is really nice for families. Easy working and creative light designs. I can't wait until the grounds and buildings are renovated, as these are looking a little tired there.

Personally, if I was bringing that many kids, I would bring a picnic lunch/snacks. Yes, there is a food court, and several smaller stands around the park that are open sporadically, but more consistently over the summer... More
