Lovely Japanese garden!
May 2021 • Couples
This is a hidden gem. Although the grounds are not large, there are 2 landscaped gardens. The Japanese garden is lovely, the rhododendrons are in bloom! Admission is free and parking is free.

Wonderful Excursion
Apr 2021 • Couples
Stopped by prior to dropping rental car off. We spent approximately 1/2 an hour (easily could have spent another 1/2 hour) which was enough to stroll through the gardens. The rhododendrons, magnolias, azaleas, and trees were in full bloom. The Japanese garden was beautiful.

Beautiful Garden
Sep 2019
This free garden is worth the visit. It is maintained by volunteers and has several different areas to explore. Two gardens were moved to prevent their demolition when the airport added a third runway. Definitely worth the visit.

Visual Beauty
Oct 2019 • Couples
This garden is both a visual beauty and a place of rich plant/theme history. The stories behind the creation of the garden are fascinating. Very close to SeaTac airport. Not to be missed!!

very nice gardens and recommended
Sep 2019
This is a great place to visit for some calm and tranquility whether solo or with friends.

Free to enter and with plenty of plants and rock and water features to look at as well as bees and dragonflies and butterflies to keep you company you can soak in the nature and enjoy walking around here and reflect or just marvel at nature.

There are many many species to see and the paths and signage are clear and well marked.A restroom and a water fountain is in the nearby community center which is walking distance from the parking lot.

Small botanical surprise near Seatac airport
Aug 2019 • Solo
Right at the doorstep of the Seatac community centre you will find an unexpected small botanical garden, supported and maintained by a group of volunteers. Its not big and not really worth a detour, yet is a welcome island of greenery in a jungle of concrete around the international airport.

nice quick break
Aug 2018
very nice surprise in the middle of the busy area around seatac airport. Not very large but very stunning with flowers and gardens. Little lacking in upkeep but the day I was there, they were working on the Japanese garden area.

Flower Lovers Paradise

This, out of the way, 10 acre garden is a combination of two private gardens facing destruction. It has excellent collections of roses, rhodies and irises. With two water features, signage that explains its origins and a Japanese Garden it's serene and well worth the trip getting there
