Car hire is a bus shuttle away
May 2019
I must agree with other travellers. The advertising that car hire is at the airport is misleading is simply not true and misleading. It is a short bus ride away and be prepared to queue to get on the bus!. The service and signage to tell you this is woeful. It was pure luck I found the shuttle. Upon arrival and then upon receipt do not expect to get the much advertised "American Customer Service" flouted on UK TV by Enterprise. Your car is in BAY nnn now get lost more like. Do not expect to get any assistance - even the customary shown around the car, the features explained, even how to start the car, are you comfortable with the size, agree the scrapes on the car, the vehicle you chose initially. Even when you complain I got "was it too complicated for you". The arrogance was beyond belief - no for others. Am glad for one I wont ever be back but highlight to others my experience

The shuttle
Sep 2019
The shuttle took us to the airport light rail station. The elevator that goes over the street to the airport was out of service . The stairs were many many.

Convenient
Aug 2019 • Friends
Rode the light rail several times through our stay. Short 9 minute walk from my hotel. Several main stops. Xlnt for getting to T-mobile stadium as well as downtown.

Nice Secure & Clean long walk from Airport baggage claim
May 2019
The staff very friendly working rail system felt secure, there is a shuttle that will take you most of the way after a little ways from baggage claim to rail. Not a good walk to rail if you have a lot of baggage wait for shuttle ride. We received a lot of assistant from staff and we found the people in Seattle to be very friendly and helpful. There is a discount to
ride the rail if you are a senior. We used the system several times to go downtown

Amazingly Efficient
May 2019 • Family
When we arrived the gentleman driver gave a very witty chat and dropped us off at car rentals. On our return very efficient once again , a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Wish UK would pick on this

Better than Denver's light rail system
Jan 2019 • Solo
It is clean, efficient, easy to use, and has frequent trains to Seattle. Used it twice, both time were fine.

Light rail link cost effective
Nov 2018 • Solo
I used light raiil link from SeaTac to University District (end of the line) and back several times. I'm a senior, so it cost me a buck. Otherwise, standard rate is $3.50. Any other shuttle, limo alternative starts at around $25. The trip runs right at 45 minutes and trains leave either location every 10 minutes. Very good alternative transportation..unless...
When U Washington football is a home game, the rail can become uncomfortably crowded (think sardines). Access at SeaTac is a really long walk from baggage claim area, but easy directions. A free shuttle runs on a loop.

Rail Link into Seattle city from Seatac Airport
Oct 2018 • Solo
A very good and frequent service by rail from the Airport into city center. It takes 35 minutes and for seniors it costs only $2 return. The reason I stayed in a hotel at the Airport was because the price of hotels are half the price of down town hotel rates.

The new consolidated rental car facility makes car renting at Seatac absolutely miserable
Jun 2018 • Family
I am not in favor of these single large structure housing all the car rental companies, but I must say the Seatec facility is the worst I've been to. The lines are long, buses are few, shuttle drivers are some of the rudest human beings on this planet. Plus they charge a hefty sum to use this pathetic service (check the rental car agreement). Only two stops at Seatec, one in the far north end and other far south. If your flights arrive in the middle of the airport terminal, be prepared for a long hike. Plus, there are very few directions on how to get on the freeway from this structure. By the time you get to the terminal and drive off in your rental car, you could be in downtown Seattle on Uber. So take the LINk, cab, Lyft, Uber, etc but I would avoid getting a rental car that services out of this structure.

Beware car rental shuttle long lines
May 2018 • Business
Be aware that the shuttle service line to car rental can be up to an hour wait during the busy summer months. There's not a good way to know the length of the line until you actually get to the line. Out frequent visits to Seattle we have been surprised twice where the li e was so long we missed the beginning of our meeting by at least 30 minutes. Plan ahead!
