A delightful farm with high quality lavender products for sale
Jul 2017 • Couples
After visiting Mount St. Helens we drove into Castle Rock. We had seen the Lavender Farm advertised, and followed the signs once at Castle Rock outskirts. The signs say 2 miles and we were unsure whether to continue when we passed a "Dead End" road sign. However, we kept going and 2 miles on, we arrived at the beautifully kept family-run Farm.

There is a small shop with a wonderful selection of hand made soap, essential oils, face creams, body lotion, teas, flavoured rock salt, honey and honey products. I work with essential oils as a UK therapist and spent a happy half hour chatting to the owner and making my purchases of essential oils and hydrosol (lavender mist) which I am using every day.

At harvest time the farmers pick their own flowers and join together with other local families to have their lavender distilled locally. Really lovely and if they shipped to the UK I would definitely buy more.

You can "pick-your-own bunch" of purple lavender and there is also one row of a stunning white variety. There are Bees everywhere and the visit was a joy.

Our Second Visit
Jul 2017 • Couples
Small lavender farm out in the country. This was our second trip and we enjoyed wandering the lavender beds and watching the bees. And did I mention that it smells wonderful? July is a great month to be there as the lavender was in full bloom. There is a small gift shop and friendly staff. And be sure to bring a camera for photo ops. They have a bench and props set up so you can take photos with the purple lavender behind you. A nice, relaxing break.

This small lavender farm on the outskirts of Castle Rock is a real gem. The grounds are well kept and the lavender smells heavenly.

ALL HYPE-HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!
Jul 2015 • Family
This "attraction" advertises in the local area with signs on the freeway, at the visitor center, in every gas station w/in 50 miles, etc.

So...I am local & had never been there. My sister came from Arizona for a visit so off we went. We were thinking "farm". We pulled into a private driveway & were looking at each other just about to leave when a man comes out waving at us. Yes. This was the "farm".

The lavender farm turned out to be 1/2 an acre of lavender which he explains to us then takes us over to a shed no bigger than one of my bedrooms which he has products for sale.

We couldn't get out of there fast enough! I was embarrassed I had taken my sister there!

Castle Rock Lavender- A little piece of heaven
Jul 2015 • Family
Castle Rock Lavender was a little piece of heaven! The little lavender farm is simply beautiful! It was my 12 year old daughter's favorite activity on this camping trip! It was so fun and peaceful cutting the lavender. There are thousands of honey bees buzzing around!
