This house just celebrated its 300th anniversary. Volunteers lead excellent tours of the property. It is only open about half the time. If it is open, it is definitely worth a visit.

We visited twice and had 2 good tours. If you are interested in historic interiors and furnishings this is a must see. There are also out buildings on the property.

If there's a flag outside, do stop in and take the tour. The house is on the Palace green quite close to the Palace. You'll learn about the wealthy people who lived here and get the story of the funeral for the wife of one...More
