Music playing was too much. Teenagers had a blast until it got too crowded to do much. Wave pool didn't produce much in the way of waves. If you just want to get wet and float the lazy river or sit on the edge of...More
We have season passes and frequent each year. It's always just a bit cooler at Ocean Breeze than in town. Facilities are nice and well maintained. It gets crowded but have always been able to find a place to sit. Feel safe for kids because...More
This is a great activity for families with children of all ages. Adults—not so much. The constant sound track thumping throughout the park gets annoying after just a few minutes. It’s no accident that the most prominent feature at the entrance is a drop off/pick...More
As a season pass holder for many years The park has gone down hill over the years. It’s overcrowded. There’s been a lack of maintenance. Dirty, up until several years ago there were staff working around cleaning and sweeping up loose trash on the ground....More
We live 3 miles from the park and have had season passes with the meal plan on our Son’s pass, for the past 4 years. Well worth the money. We’ve already been to the park 10 times this Summer. It gets crowded on hot days,...More

Living in Virginia Beach the past 30 years, the season pass to OceanBreeze water park is one of the few affordable family summer activities.
The cost for season passes is reasonable, they don't have as much as Busch Gardens, but we don't have to fight...More

The tourism season peaks in July and the busiest days are Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The water park is filled with activities and keeps the clientele moving and busy. Shady spots are available and some parents supervising their children may be disinterested in the rides, but the intriguing nature of the rides keeps people moving. I recommend taking a camera to capture those memorable moments, but be aware, someone else is looking for your shady spot, too. If vigilant, you should be able to find a shady spot at some point. If sunburn is a concern, you should bring sun block lotion until a shady spot becomes available. The sun can be intense during the summer. Have fun on the adventure river or at the wave pool! It's great for all ages!
