Love how they have this close to home. Can bike and walk the dogs. Nice and quite and plenty of parking. Long tracks too

The location for Rooty Hill Parkrun. Walk, run, stroll free and open to all comers. A great way to get off the lounge. Every Sat @ 8am.

We take our 3 poodles to the off leash dog park at least twice a month. Great place for the poodles to socialise and sniff other dogs butts. Highly recommended for a relaxing Sunday afternoon.

We had to drive our daughter to a 21st on Saturday, so we all piled into the car, and then added the crazy (but gorgeous) dog. The parklands are situated about 40 minutes car drive from our home, so the rest of us hung around...More

Love the new Park and all the work that has gone into. My kids love the little water play area and absolutely Love the Flying Fox. Thank you Blacktown Council for another great park for my kids

We have been to a few of the Western Sydney parklands and have enjoyed all of them. The Plough and Harrow is wonderful for all it's interesting and interactive play equipment that can keep kids entertained for ages. It also has a large grassed area...More

We visited the Lizard Log park (Cowpasture Road / The Horsley Drive, Abbotsbury) with our 5 year old this winter. Really great facilities - toilets, free bbq's, picnic shelters, parking, cycle paths & children's playground facilities. Great place to spend a few hours chilling out....More
