This is a moderate to difficult trail starting from a parking lot on Hwy 431 and meandering to the Gulf cliff outlook. At times the hike is very steep with a mix of rock, stairs, and dirt trails. Total distance is about 9 km return...More

This trail looked quite desolate in October. There is a washroom at the small parking lot off the highway but I wouldn’t suggest walking this trail in the off season.

This trail started in a rocky field that is part of the Tablelands. For maybe a kilometer or so, the trial is obvious, but after that it just disappears into a trackless rock-strewn field. There were three other people on the trail that day besides...More

Our favourite trail in the park. We generally do it as a loop. Parks Canada in their wisdom are eliminating the Wallace brook section thereby cutting out half the route. It is now far shorter and in and out

Definitely a big pay off at the end of this hike as you hit the cliff areas. Beautiful views and a set of steps to get down to the beach area for some additional views. Nice sea stacks to add to the photo list as...More

This was one of my favourite hikes to do during my hiking trip in Gros Morne. It was interesting starting out in a rocky open field and at the end it's an open field with a beach.

This hike is great but be prepared as it is not easy. It is up and down and is tougher on the the return hike so save some energy. Nice view of ocean at the end and can also walk down on the beach. If...More

We took this walk as soon as we had a clear day with good visibility - not everyday here. If visibility isn't good it detracts a lot from this hike which is fairly strenuous. The walk heads off over rolling hills but soon starts a...More

A very good shape is needed to make this trail. Endless steps going down and down and down to the shore, and then up and up and up again. However, it you take it as a good physical exercise, then go for it. The view...More
