Where do I begin? This hike was amazing! In total, the hike took us around eight hours. This included lunch at the top and many photo ops. Make sure to go on a clear day, as the top of the mountain can be very foggy!...More

I hiked Gros Morne with a friend. We are 50 plus ladies. We considered getting a guide, but then went on our own. There certainly was no need. The trail is well marked, with lots of other hikers. It is very rough in spots and...More

On a cold day we mostly saw Gros Morne from the car but it was very pretty capped in the first snowfall of the year. There are several spots to stop along the highway to take a picture.

The climb up Gros Morne Mountain was an incredible experience. It's long, but when you get to the top, the views are so worth it. The hardest stretch is climbing up the mountain. The hardest stretch is about 700m. We really took our time and...More

I like to think I'm pretty fit - there aren't many times I've ever had difficulty on a climb, but Gros Morne is a whole other beast! There is well over an hour's walk from the parking lot, gaining about 300 meters in elevation before...More
