Situated at the pier head this unassuming piece of architecture takes on a different appearance depending on the weather.

Always go to this every time we visit Tiree. It’s an interesting piece of Architecture that always provides a new view from the island due to the ever changing weather. The kids love it for a fantastic photo! Needs a little TLC since our first...More

An open walkway where the eye is drawn to the huge skies, the postage stamp view of Gott Bay, black felter below which the rock structure flows like a river and then the glass belvidere. Sorry, didn't get it - it was like an underpass...More

This was designed and made by numerous engineers, artists, architects and builders. This art work represents all the elements from the landscape- skies, shores, rocks and silver beaches. Simple, brilliantly executed, go, see it, feel it, and make up your own mind. We loved it...More

Visited on a beautiful day so saw it in the best circumstances. Looks lovely, but why bury it in amongst the buildings at a ferry terminal. Needs some TLC.

On a rainy afternoon perhaps our artistic spirit was wilting however having enjoyed the local talents on display in various craft shops on the island we couldn't find much enthusiasm for this prize winning "sculpture". In fact we couldn't find it at all at first...More

This beautiful tunnel sculpture has been on Tiree for approx 10 years. The White roofless tunnel leads you through a dark passage to the end which is a glass box with a stunning view. It needs a wee bit of maintainence but I was overjoyed...More
