I've been to nearly all the Essex Wildlife parks and hadn't visited Bedfords, so decided to give it a try. It was a lot hillier so hard going for older knees or little people. The deer were lovely but I found paths weren't clearly marked...More

Had a lovely day over the part. Beautiful surroundings and views. Visited the deer. Only thing could be better is parking.

Out on the bike, we found the wooded parts of Bedford Park steep and slippery in places. The tracks easily disappear as they are now covered in fallen leaves. However, it was great fun as the park is fairly compact you are never too far...More

If you like walking and taking in the peace and quiet this is lovely, during the hot weather I would take my collapsible chair and a good book there and enjoy the views from the cafe.

My daughter had her 6th birthday party here in April 2018. It was fantastic. Cannot fault the staff for the games they played with the children outside and they got all the adults involved too! Nice area for the food after which we supplied ourselves....More
