Had a fabulous day out at Hollingworth lake. Can be hard to park at weekends but you will find a spot eventually. Lots of places to eat and attractions along the lake side with two large pubs situated at each side.

A nice day out nice views pleasant walks around lake. Swimming is not recommended as due to fouling by the ducks. There is a information center and carpark set back from the lake on the left hand side. It has a nice cafe inside.

Only problem I've found on my many visits to Hollingworth Lake is the parking., you're better off trying to get a space at the visitor centre. It's a nice peaceful walk round the lake, a children's play area half way round is a welcome break...More
