The town hall and assembly rooms are a real feature of the town centre. Beautiful building which is now surrounded by festive decorations. Surrounded in local history this is a lovely attraction and adds to the town landscape. Worth checking out.

The Pontefract Town Hall houses the original plaster cast of the sculpture of Nelson's fall that decorates Nelson's Column in London. It is worth seeing!
