Close to where I live, a great shore to walk, collect objects like small pieces of driftwood etc. from the beach...and even pick up litter left by others or washed up by the river.

There are problems especially around the Denton area where there is no access to the shore. However this path parses through Gravesham and is easy to follow and takes in lots of historical places. Also some places of beauty and space. Use it if you...More

A really interesting historical walk with much to see and do along the way. Great views as we walk along the river Thames and a lot of shipping activity to watch.

The Saxon Shaw Way in Gravesend has a lot to offer. Pubs and Parks. Forts and Museums. Promenades and Pathways. The River Thames alongside the Saxon Shaw Way offers much to see. There is so much history along the way. There is something for everyone.

This is a lovely walk along the riverbank passing a small church on the river and ending up on the promenade,which has lots of things to see.
