I took a class of 24 pupils here who loved it and it really brought the history of Blackburn alive. We had a talk by Steve Irwin whose knowledge, delivery and passion for history inspired the pupils.

Been visiting for about 60 years and recommend you to visit. The Industrial Revolution features strongly. I feel the borough needs to publicise the museum more. Looking forward to visiting for another 60 years!

Interesting history of the Mill Industry and local "Accrington Pals" who lost their lives on the Western Front. Some good natural history examples too including Birds of Prey.
