I visited the cathedral as I was taking photos of Blackburn Town . What a lovely peaceful place and so beautiful inside . So many people of the town have never been inside which is rather sad .

Lovely place to visit, just outside blackburn town centre and train station. Gorgeous interior and exteriors, well worth a visit.

We are glad you enjoyed your visit. We love the Lantern tower as well and even though we are in the building daily we still see different lights and colours coming through the tower on a sunny day. We hope you can come again soon...More

The cathedral is centrally situated and is a restful and pleasant place to visit. Good organ. Cafe shuts at 2.00 so you need to organise your eating time, but it is a worthwhile stopoverMore
