Visited The Courtyard today with 3 grandchildren to have a meal. Cannot fault the place. It was clean, staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The 4 meals ordered didn't take long to be served and were really lovely - best meal I have had at a pub for ages. Desserts were ordered and staff were more than happy to serve something different that was required. All in all, great pub, fantastic staff and lovely meals

Came here the other day as we met up with some friends who traveled over. We ordered food. There was only a few people in yet it took a very very long time to get served our food. The food was nice when it came apart from the sausages they seemed to taste very cheap. Good price though. Little miffed as we have 3 children at the table i did ask for colouring and got given only 1 activity bag which meant the children had one crayon each and fought over the items that were in the bag... i would expect 1 bag each.

This place is quite dark... and toilets are very stinky!!! However the food is really good for the money. Kids eat free which is excellent value as the menu is cheap anyway. Staff really friendly xx

I visit this venue occasionally to meet up with a friend to enjoy a good breakfast followed by a premium cigar (outside heated area) and rum. On a previous visit I requested from the bar sweeteners for my coffee. At this time none were available so I mentioned to the barman (maybe he's the manager) it might be a good idea to keep some 'clickers' behind the bar to accommodate my fellow diabetics necessity to use sweeteners opposed to refined sugar. Today, some 6 weeks later, we visited, ordered breakfast with coffee and to my amazement the same guy presented me with a 'clicker' dispenser without having to ask; he remembered me after all that time! Excellent customer service, great breakfast and a freezing morning! Well done.

Popped in for lunch with friends last minute. Quite an extensive menu with everything from Jacket Potatoes, Wraps, Burgers etc. All reasonably priced and decent size portions. Not the warmest of food, my jacket potato was very nice but not that hot. Worth visiting, especially for lunch time.
