The Isle of Wight boast is we are a green island, why is it cheaper to drive everywhere than go by bus? Example Newport to Cowes (6miles) £3:50. It's cheaper to drive there AND park. I recently got a bus from Weymouth to Bridport (22...More

Our hotel in Ryde was less than a block from the bus station, and it was perfect for us. We went absolutely everywhere by bus, and saw most of the island in a few days. One driver told us we'd save money by purchasing a...More

The best way to explore the Isle of Wight is on the distinctive green southern vectis Buses! We travelled on a few routes around the island and were afforded an excellent service, new buses and great views! There are many ticket deals so best to...More

Bought a rover ticket which is excellent value for money. Drivers all helpful. One bus we got on was filfy with litter of cans and takeaway cups shoved between the seat backs (not the bus company's fault), maybe providing bins might help?

Most drivers are usually friendly and helpful, but the ticket prices are ridiculous. £4.50 just to go from Newport to Shanklin is not OK.

Services run close to advertised, but suffer from the National Average in cutting out a bus just when you want it. Vehicles are good, clenliness good and drivers are mostly excellent.

Just awful travel. Never on time. Over priced. Quite often buses just drive pass and don't even attempt to pick people up. Definitely not worth the money.
