I especially enjoyed the short movies on former workers at the various train stations. Fortunately there are English subtitles. There is much subtle oral history to learn from these video recordings; absolutely fascinating. Besides that, wander and see what interests you. But leave yourself extra...More

In front of the museum stands a locomotive with workers car. This track is connected with the railway. You can watch the whole museum in about an hour. Opening times start at 10 am daily.

There is plenty to see and read in this museum that tells you the history of the railway and Graubunden. Did you know that cars were banned in this entire area for several years?

Spent a lovely couple of hours here and only left as I had a train to catch. The entry floor exhibits are decent although the actual model railway wasn't running when I was there. Still, the interactive exhibits and video exerts upstairs more than balanced...More

We visited here whilst returning from a trip by train. We arrived slightly late in the day and maybe that was part of the reason we were a little disappointed as the simulator was closed and the model railway was not really running in full...More

Great engineering and a lot of hard work to build this railroad. The Bahnerlebnisweg to Preda or Filisur is fascinating and the museum a good back up.
