It would only justify the visit if you are more an admirer of the painter than of his painting. The museographic assembly is correct.

We only drove in the opposite direction, that is from Cadaques to Roses then onto Figueres, and this took about 45 minutes. Once in Cadaques its a 5 minute drive to the Dali House at Pt. Ligat. It was a steep drive from Cadaques to Roses for less than half the way, and winding (so this would be at the end of your drive) but I didn't think terribly so. At least half the journey, that is, between Figueres and Roses will be on a highway on the flat. I don't see that your wife will have much of a problem personally, if she doesn't suffer terribly all the time. Have you considered staying in Cadaques? We were there in May and it was delightful, a very pretty fishing village with a lot more charm than Figueres. We also went to the Dali Museum in Cadaques, which when we were there, had an exhibition of photos and a video of Dalis carpenter, who made all the furniture in Pt Ligat as well as objects in the Figueres Museum. With the Figueres Museum, get there early, or go at lunch time, when everyone else is at restaurants. Make sure you book your Pt. Ligat tickets on online, but we didn't bother at the Figueres Museum, just walked in, there was no queue, despite lots of people inside. If your booking one, you may as well book tickets for both I suppose. I'm sure you know that there is a seperate section for Dalis Jewels which is also worth seeing in Figueres. Hope that helps
