The salt pans at La Hoya are a very picturesque old salt production facility on Lanzarote. There are remnants of other salt pans elsewhere on the island, these are still functioning. You can buy some of the salt produced at a small shop.
The salt pans are worth visiting if only for the wonderful views they afford.
You arnt able to get close because of the steep hills,but on a guided tour you will drive past them.
