Unfortunately we only had a few hours to explore this village. It boasts its own Bull-fighting arena. Has remains of a very old fort to be seen. Small museum. Many shops and places to eat. We had a lovely paella dish with ice cold beer...More

Easy to find as is everything in mijas. The smallest and probably the most basic bull ring. Entrance fee of €4 is a bit steep as there is nothing there other than the fact that it very small. But mijas itself is worth a visit....More

It certainly took the town hall a long time to carry out their latest refurbishment of this square but it now fits in perfectly. They have created some nice fixed seating and added a historic fountain. The surrounding restaurants , shops and park cannot fail...More

I visited here with my friend and our 2 young children. Beautiful view and setting but the animals here are treated horrendously. The horses are stood in the sun, many have sores where the bridal is rubbing their skin. The donkeys heads are basically fixed...More

We loved coming here , a traditional place to visit , the real history of mijas ! So pleased we have been to every part of mijas on our holiday we are so lucky to have visited.

For only 4e worth a visit. Lots of bull fighting memorabilia and get to see the bull ring. Climb the stands and get great views of the town

Hello Graeme ,The M112 & 121 bus will get you to Mijas from Torremolinos . They are pretty regular but I can't remember how often - 3 or 4 an hour at a guess . It's approximately 1 hours interesting journey at only €1.65... More
