The church an be seem from all over town as it’s on the highest hill and its very tall. It closes between. 1:30 and 3:30pm so plan accordingly. It’s Sicilian Baroque, run down on the outside(it is very old) and has been updated some on...More

Beautiful church on the "top of the hill". Another fine example of Sicilian Baroque. A bit disappointing inside, as I do not find it as adorned and in good shape as I had expected. A beautiful square lays before the church, with a great black...More

The cathedral is huge and for such a small place amazingly bulky. It is worth the climb up the hill from the main square for the view and for a look at this impressive building

The Piazza is beautifully paved and there a small amount of free parking. The interior is majestic with a painting of The Madonna over the altar. There is also a suspended 15th century painted cross.
