Walk up the Main Street towards the top of the hill and you can see this imposing, but plan basilica. The inside is very interesting and has several statues, busts, including Pope Paul ll. well worth a look

The current building was replaced by a small chapel built in 1609. The Church was built in the neoclassical style, with a layout in the form of a Latin cross, designed by architect Alberobello Antonio Curri. The work lasted a little less than 3 years....More
