A short walk from town through the causeway will give you a great view of this amazing old structure and great views back into town and surrounding coastlines. Does get a bit windy so may need a jacket in cooler weathering. Sunset renders some good...More

The islet itself was so peaceful while the sea around was wild and exciting on one side and calm enough to swim on the other. Unfortunately I was there too late in the year to see sunset over the sea but it must be a...More

Everyone goes here to watch the sunset and it is beautiful. To stand near this 2,500 year old doorway was an incredible experience for a history buff like me

No crowds. Just a peaceful walk to view up close to a very old piece of history. Waves crashing all around just added to the beauty.

This iconic landmark is a must see. We went late afternoon but evening would give you spectacular photos. The walk up is fairly easy. Wear flat shoes as the water spraying onto the path may make the path a little slippery.

While you can see the ruins themselves from a picture alone, what you can't get until you walk up the short hill is the amazing views from every angle. Definitely worth the trip if at least to see the views in every direction.

Really? Hate to be a drag here... but. Not one plaque to describe anything. Wow... the view, yes. Nothing else. You have no idea what anything is there unless you hire a guide. A lame string around the whole site. Big deal. Go for the...More

You can easily walk over here from the area by the ferry port. I would recommend sunset, as the colours over the town are quite pretty, however you will also find a few other like-minded folks there around this time.
