Very nice excursion, especially if you have children (or dogs); there are three marked routes which are shown at the entrance (the red and yellow one not much different really) The blue one is for wheelchair access and very short. I recommend either the red...More

A lovely couple of hours spent wandering the woods. Easy enough to find with some great views over Bonnieux and Lacoste on the drive up/down. There are 4 walks, Green, Orange, Blue and Red. The longest, 3.8 kms Green, circuits the forest on relatively flat...More

At the top of the mountain above Bonnieux is a cedar forest. If you have never been in a cedar forest, you need to experience this once. The commune has set up a number of lovely walks of varying lengths and difficulty thru the woods...More

There are beautiful sweeping views over the valley from the top and it is really rewarding to climb. Very well maintained with lots of benches.

We hiked up from Bonnieux, it took about two hours on well marked paths. We took the decent in the direction of Lacoste. It was challenging, but doable. Make sure you wear good shoes.

The forest is up in the Luberon mountains some 5 min drive from Bonnieux direction Lauris. The signalisation is quite limited but you recognise the crossing due to several parking places on the opposite side of the road. Do not leave your car there but...More

Just out of Bonnieux is a Cedar Forest, which is easy to get to and I would suggest that any opportunity to stop for a view as you climb the hill, is worth taking in the view. Its not often that you can look down...More

The path is very well marked and maintained, large enough for a group. You can walk for hours. sometimes a bit far from open views on both sides but those views of the Sainte Victoire and the Ventoux are well worth the additional walk.
