We go to Sancerre every year wine buying. We have visited the Maison des Sancerre three times and each time it was different but very good.It uses high tech to tell the story of the wines of Sancerre.Do not miss the cinema experience.

A great start to our stay in Sancerre, a well presented guide to the local wine production, exploring all the elements of wine making. We took our young children and felt very welcome they really enjoyed the 4D cinema!

We were pleasantly surprised at how kid and teen friendly this museum was. Expecting our children to more or less tag along as we adults were educating ourselves on Sancerre wine, we found a number of hands-on activities instead, that caught the whole family's attention....More

Nice explanation of the wine making process and of the geological specificities of the local soil. Not mandatory but still nice stop to continue learning about Sancerre.

If you are visiting Sancerre for just a short time then this is the place to learn about the wines of the area and the story behind them. There is wine tasting within the entry fee.

Great combo of different exhibitions and experiences, the 3D geology and history, the 4D experience, the garden game, the free glass of Sancerre. Really good VFM
