They have thousands of firearms, some dating back to the 15th Century, including matchlocks, wheel-locks, and flintlocks all the way up to modern firearms. They have a large selection of firearms that had been in popular movies. The firearms are grouped together by type and...More

Overall I was impressed with the museum. While it is a bit confusingly laid out (we were not sure where to start and there wasn't a logical flow to the exhibits), there are some amazing exhibits here. We particularly enjoyed the Vietnam and WWII exhibits,...More

For firearms history buffs like me, more cool stuff than I can shake a stick at, way too many to list or recall here, so I’ll just name a few: the .44 AutoMag, Dirty Harry’s Smith & Wesson Model 29 .44 Magnum, the Beretta 92F...More

We always try to find something to do on Sundays and this was one of the few places open. Well it did not disappoint!

Kids loved it, I loved it and we do not own a gun. I highly recommend it!! Right off the highway so it is easy to get to.

This is the place to see so much art work on firearms and the different types, with their history. This is better than the Smithsonian in DC and a lot safer. There are many strange and unique items, like the vampire killing set. There is...More

Without GPS this place is hard to find. The signage on the highway is great, but once off that there is no further signage. But the two hours I spent driving around asking people where it was (no body knew, except a policeman). Was worth...More

I would recommend calling the headquarters for best directions as it is outside of DC in Fairfax, VA and I am not sure there is a close Metro station: (703) 267-1600. They should be able to assist you best.
