Wow, haven't had such treatment even on American. This is despite the fact that it was an international connection. The excuse was that if I was Star Alliance Gold, I could get in. I was not, but I did have a first class ticket.

This is my favorite of the three United lounges. It is larger than the one at C17, and just across from a Starbucks and just near the escalator you take up from customs/immigration if you take a United flight back to the States.
This lounge is probably the best of all three for a few reasons.
The United lounges at C7, C17, and D8 are all within walking distance from each other. So if nearest C17 for example, consider going to D8 or C7 instead for a better...More
Came to this First Class lounge expecting WOW. What a disappointment :(. This really was no different than a regular United lounge. Empty pot of soup, cheese scraps and almost empty plate of crackers........ come on United! This was quite a disappointment..........
