Have been many times over the years I am a resident of Waxahachie You can spend up to an hour looking at the various displays Def recommend it for those in downtown Waxahachie

Housed in a large building the museum itself is not all that large but the quality of displays is good and gives a snapshot of the town over 100 plus years.

This museum gives a good deal of information about how Waxahachie got its start; with lots of pictures of the past up to present day. They have interesting items that date back to the 1800's that were used; medicinal items, guns, tools, etc. The people...More

Stopped in for a very friendly and informative visit to the museum in the old Masonic building. Lots of artifacts and interesting articles, all they ask is for a voluntary donation. Don't hesitate to stop in.

As visitors from the UK, my family and I were welcomed by a very friendly lady at the museum and we really enjoyed the museum which contained some really interesting artifacts.

Allow thirty minutes t o one hour. Donation accepted. Large textile exhibit. Dishes. Toys. Cotton industry. Photos. Medical. Quilts. Fashion. Military. Native American artifacts and education. by courthouse.
