We walked from the butterfly park to the castle which took around 30 mins to find it was closed.Not wanting to hang around for an hour before it re opened we carried on walking down the hill to the main road which took another hour.

we visited the castle and found it something different to see, on the day we went the temp was 43 degrees so could have done with a cafe there so we could get a drink as it was boiling hot, one tip we looked at...More

Great place to spend 1h and make beautiful photos. Go there at golden hour. It's a miniature castle dedicated to Cristofor Columb. 2,5 euros entrance fee.

We were staying only 15 min walk away so decided to wander along. It was very reasonable and we spent about an hour there looking around. Stunning place.

I would not say that it is suitable for a wedding ceremony.. nice for photographs but that is all.

Hello, You can use the bus 103 number and it will stop you at the old town of Benalmádena. From there is a one mile walk to the castle. Take note about the castles time hours. Castillomonumentocolomares. com Kind regards.
