die Sankt Marienkirche hat eine bewegte Geschichte und strahlt eine behagliche und behütende Atmosphäre aus. Die engen und hellen Bänke laden zum verweilen und zur Einkehr ein und das klare und starke Bild Jesu aus Holz im Altarraum beruhigt und fasziniert zugleich.

Sehr lohnenswerte Kirche und vor allem der Ausblick vom Kirchturm ist sehr sehenswert. Absolut empfehlenswert !

Einen kurzen Schwenk von der Fußgängerzone entfernt befindet sich das sehenswerte Gotteshaus. Umfangreiche Restaurierungen haben dem Bauwerk sichtbar gut getan, die Informationen dazu sind umfangreich und hilfreich.
Wer gut zu Fuß und fit im Treppensetigen ist, kann von der nachträglich angebauten Plattform einen Blick ins weite Rund auf Stadt und See werfen ... und wird die kurze Anstrengung nicht bereuen,

Der Innenraum der Kirche gefiel mir sehr gut. Die vertraute Dame der Kirche war unglaublich nett und aufmerksam.
Der Aufstieg zum Kirchturm hat sich mehr als rentiert. Man wird mit einem umwerfenden Blick rings rum um Waren belohnt.
Echt empfehlenswert. Der Aufstieg hat 1€ gekostet. Für die Aussicht müsste man fast schon mehr verlangen 😉
Der Eintritt zur Kirche ist zu vorgeschrieben Zeiten kostenlos.
Wer Kirchen liebt sollte diese nicht auslassen.

Ein Besuch der Marienkirche lohnt sich auf alle Fälle! Man erfährt sehr viel über die Geschichte von Waren. Pflicht ist die Besteigung des Kirchturmes über 173 Stufen. Man kann die Glocken bestaunen und wenn man zur richtigen Uhrzeit da ist, kommt man in den Genuss des Glockenspiels. Oben angekommen kann mannte Fenster in alle vier Himmelsrichtungen öffnen und hat einen herrlichen Blick auf Waren und die umliegenden Seen.

Die Kirche liegt zentral, nicht weit entfernt vom Marktplatz, und ein Besuch ist auf jeden Fall lohnend, insbesondere die Option, den Turm zu besteigen, von wo es tolle Ausblicke auf Waren, die Müritz und auch sonst die Gegend gibt.

Die Kirche ist sehr schön restauriert und insbesondere der Turmaufstieg lohnt sich. Der Turm wurde vollständig restauriert und die Treppe nach oben ist sehr komfortabel. Die Aussicht über Stadt, Hafen und Umfeld ist durch die zu öffnenden Fenster sehr gut. Der eine Euro für den Aufstieg ist gut investiert.
