This mosaic of different destinations offers a multitude of different ambiances and atmospheres that also reflect the changing architectural styles of winter sports resorts since 1961. Most of La Plagne’s villages were designed by architect Michel...more

Spread into about four different areas so check carefully where you are. We had quite a walk to the slopes, or stairs to the free bus. Snow was fantastic though. Only two bars in the bottom where we were, but lots up in the centre...More
La Plagne as a place is quite unique in that it is actually a number of smaller resorts, connected together by a combination of free buses and late night gondola lifts. We stayed in Plagne 1800, which is mostly made up of chalets (we stayed...More
Some of the best powder we have ever skied. Charming resort, but split across a number of villages, rather than one central town. Therefore this coupled with the locals, preferring a meal and night in, rather than hitting the town, meant for little later apres...More
This is my third time going to a ski resort!
This ski resort is the BEST SKI RESORT EVER!
8 of us were here for 6 days!
Our ski guide was really friendly and we enjoyed the whole experience!
WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK AGAIN!
Whilst not the most picturesque of resorts La Plagne offers great skiing for intermediates. Lots of Blue runs that are well linked together and easy to navigate. Get away from the main resort centres and slopes can be quiet. Linked to Les Arcs via the...More
Great skiing. Lots of well groomed runs, lift queues all small, extensive piste network, mostly blue runs, lift operatives are a bit sleepy - I saw a few people getting injured whilst getting off the lifts. You can ski to Les Arcs if you plan...More
Visited after the British and European half terms. Brilliant resort massive uphill capacity did not wait more than 5 mins for a lift. Great slopes. Better than Les Arcs. Unless you want to ski Les arcs several times don't get an area pass. The local...More
It is surprising, when talking to skiers , that many seem to return to the same resorts year in year out and don’t explore others, La Plagne and the Paradiski Area has probably the best skiing in Europe. It may not be the most scenic...More
I believe because it is a weekend try Bens' Bus.
I had to get a private transfer which was rather expensive.
I think there is a company called Cool bus but again quite expensive for one.
Hope this helps.
Your best bet is to try one of the transfer companies. Cool bus is good and there is also alps2alps both of which serve Grenoble and La Plagne. As there are only 2 of you it will be expensive but if you are happy to share... More

We received a lift pass refund from Service Relation Clientèle (Customer Services) at the lift pass company. We visited La Plagne from January 20 - 27. We bought lift passes for La Plagne ski area directly from the office in Belle Plagne. We didn't buy a Paradiski Pass because the La Plagne pass gives you one day in Les Arcs. We applied for the refund by email when we were back in the UK.
There was exceptional snowfall on Sunday and Monday leading to very little of the resort being open. According the data recorded by the lift pass company, on one day, more than half of the lifts were closed for over half a day. Customer Services were extremely helpful, refunding approx 40 euros for each person in our party. This was paid directly into my bank account. We were offered a non-nominative, non-dated day pass valid in la Plagne for this winter season or the next, but decided to take the refund.
