If you want to see what the architecture is, then go to villa Savoye. Perfection, an poem written on the space. The words are little to say.

The funcionality and aesthetics of the building are impressive. This is a beautiful example of the genius of le corbusier (and his uncle). We were actually a bit disappointed by the organisation of the visit. Monuments France use a couple of rooms of the villa...More

For architecure's lovers, it's must-see ! For laymans, it's a good overview of modern architecture. The best education and knowledge is in real experience, especially for art.

This classic 1930s modernist house designed by Le Corbusier is a must for anyone interested in architecture and design. Access by public transport from most of Paris requires metro, train and bus but a bit of googling will get you there. The signs at Poissy...More

For those who adore the designs of Le Corbusier this building is a "must" on your list of places to visit. Hidden in an otherwise busy town, this piece of architectural history feels as modern today as it was when it was built between 1928...More

As an architectural student I studied le corbu, and the villa savoye. It's amazing to see something build nearly 70 years ago could still be so relevant. I highly recommend planning you visit around the English guided tour

Nothing can detract from the overall design of the building, and as the manifesto of "the five points" for Le Corbusier's and Jeanneret Perriand's "new architecture" it is still magnificent. However the upkeep of the Villa is very poor. Having being refurbished (closer to being...More

This is obviously a must-see for fans of modernist architecture but in my opinion it would benefit immensely from being furnished. Empty rooms tell us nothing about the way the living space would have looked when it was originally lived-in. Could do with some TLC...More

These types of architectural wonders are usually quite a feat to visit, as they require prior booking and tend to be available to see only through guided tours. So it was a pleasant surprise to find out Villa Savoye, one of Le Corbusier's masterpiece and...More

Take the train from Saint Lazare station to Poissy it's only 20 minutes and €5 if you get the express. Saint Lazare is near Printemps.
