I have 3 children, all under 8, and they really enjoyed this zoo. I think small zoos work well for smaller children because it is not as much walking as say the Fort Worth Zoo. We try to go every couple of weeks. They have...More

The road around the zoo was closed because it is under construction. We had to park at the Rodeo Parking Area and walk about 800 feet (partially in sand) to get to the entrance of the zoo. There is no way anyone handicapped could have...More

It's a bit small, but as a family we love to stroll around and look at all the animals. It's not an all day kinda trip with teens for kids, but it keeps us busy for a couple of hours.

We went to the zoo today and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is peaceful and beautiful. Large animals and small. We saw several interesting and birds i had never seen at other zoos. Great for kids and we road the train too! Great time.
