A hidden gem! If you've not found the Stoodleigh Inn, you don't know what you're missing! Absolutely perfect in every way and Lizzie's home made food is excellent - just like being at home without the washing up! I guarantee you'll not find fault.

We stayed at quoit at cross b&b and Linda our host recommended the pub. We popped in Friday night and was made most welcome......the pub was like walking into someone's living room. Very friendly locals sat chatting most of the night. Would definetly recommend it...More

Recommend the pub if you are staying in the village. Landlady Lizzie opened up early for the rugby an hour early. All I asked was would they have it on tv! Very warm welcome from Lizzie and regulars. Pool table which doesn't require coins. Cosy...More

We spent two fun evenings in this very friendly local when we stayed at a nearby B&B. The landlady Lizzie is great she made us feel very welcome and cooked some lovely food which was very reasonably priced.

We visited the stoodleigh inn a few times on a trip to the area and found the pub very accommodating and friendly. The pool table and sofas were a great addition to the place!
