Great museum. But make sure you have enough time, it's bigger than it looks from outside. As the saying goes...Everything's Big in Texas! Great collections!

The private collection of Eugene and Margaret McDermott is Worth a trip from any where. Not to name drop, but Degas, Renoir and more. The only drawback is acoustics if there is a crowd. Can’t hear the docent tour guide.

Plan at least three hours here! Free museum (one exhibit wasn’t free) with a lot to see. There was Latin American Art, qurans, African American Art, things from the silk road displayed, and a lot more. Highly enjoyed the section of Sally Hemings, although sad...More

This place was so beautiful. My teen daughter is an artist and she was amazed by some of the pieces. We didn’t make it through the whole thing but we plan to next time.

I spent a few hours at the museum, which I had visited once a few years ago. It is curated thoughtfully, but the only part I spent time in was the American art, which was high on old portraits but very sparse on important movements...More

I'm sorry, but I really don't know the answer to that but they are very helpful so I would think if you call the museum they could let you know. :)
