Even though the weather was definitely not great for viewing, we loved our walk up to Rivington Pike, a nice steady walk bought you to the top. Great to see restoration work underway. Need to go back in summer. Great for photography on the way!

If your in Horwich or Rivington it is worth the climb to the top of the Pike. You get a wonderful view, you can even see Blackpool on a clear day. Lovely to walk up through the Chinese Gardens as well.
