A super short walk with my 7 & 10 year old. The waterfall is beautiful and my kids enjoyed playing in the water. I can’t wait to go back.

You can almost drive right up to this waterfall. Easy access - great waterfall year round. You park across from the church and the landowners are nice enough to provide a trail down to the falls.

Went in July and was hoping for the full falls and we got it! Just beautiful and the sound was so peaceful. Excellent place to picnic if you bring a blanket to spread over a large rock. Not recommended for toddlers as there are lots...More

Rutledge Falls is very beautiful. I attend the church across the street which is amazing itself. The waterfall is something you don't see everyday especially in the small town it is in. It goes way back on the trails, and is very pretty. The rocks...More

We went to Rutledge Falls today and loved every minute. Beautiful place and well worth the hike down into the falls area. Wear good sturdy water shoes, no flip flops bc the rocks are a bit slippery and unsteady. I put my phone in a...More

What a wonderful reprise from the heat. My husband and I came to the falls after the Moon Pie Fest in Bell Buckle. You can feel a 10-15 degree drop just scaling down the rocks to the stream! Loved it!

This is a beautiful place to see. On some days it is packed, so to get a good spot to set out your stuff to relax and watch the swimmers, come early. The water is beyond cold year round. Lots of danger of your not...More

I've been to Rutledge several times and have always enjoyed it. It's a beautiful area for a time or relaxation. You can wade in the water or just enjoy looking at it. Just be careful going down to trail to the water and waterfall.

The falls is not too far from the parking area, but the trail going down is kinda slippery and difficult for small children and older people. We went there the first week of June when the temp was around 80's for a few weeks, but...More

Great place to visit! Beautiful landscape, waterfalls, and some trails for hiking. Some areas are better for experienced hikers. Some areas not for small kids, they’re are drop off cliff edges on trails. Hike at your own risk. A beautiful hidden gem!

The falls are actually on private land but the owners allow people to visit (there are signs posted saying this). Therefore, there are no set hours but it would be dangerous to visit the falls in the dark as the main trail... More

I didn't see anyone fishing the Saturday afternoon we were there. They do have a huge lake close to the Air Force base there. All water activities were there.
