We parked and walked around for a few minutes to take pics. Really nice site to visit. Easy to find and not too far out of Gatlinburg. As others have said, please be respectful of the neighborhood.

Emerts Cove Covered Bridge is pretty and unusual but be aware it is a new bridge, not historic. It was built by the tiny community a few years ago over the creek for local traffic, including a covered walkway as part of the bridge. And...More

Emerts Cove Covered Bridge is a great place to take pictures. However, I was a bit disappointed to read on the plaque that it was constructed in 2000 and is not a historical covered bridge. Still a neat structure, but I think many of the...More

I have always wanted to visit a covered bridge. This was a neat adventure and a great way to experience history. The boys were fascinated with the construction and how the bridge was built.

Park your car safely and far off private property. Quietly walk across the bridge and see the water under your feet through the spaces between the wooden boards. Please be respectful of neighbors and don't tromp on their lawns

Beautiful bridge overlooking the rocky river. Signs everywhere for no parking. We parked for just a minute and snapped some amazing pictures.

The poor rating is not for the location itself - it is absolutely beautiful! But the "neighbors" are anything but neighborly! We got married at Emerts Cove Covered Bridge in 2010. Just the two of us and the preacher. It was gorgeous. Kept saying we...More

The bridge is not too far from 321. Parking to walk across the bridge is small. The little stream under it is beautiful. They have a walk way across the bridge separate from the lane for cars.

Between morning and evening, coose morning. But best will be mid-day, due to shadows from trees. The bridge sets mostly East to West.
