    We had the best time!
Our family had the best time! We were able to get a deluxe retreat, they had one left when we asked. Pricey but worth having your own space. The park fills up quickly. Also, get the H20 passes, worth every single penny!!!

Splish, Splash for the entire family! Too much fun!
If you are ever in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg, make sure to checkout this amazing waterpark! It is way above the standard norm in what could be considered top level family fun. Lets begin with the staff…. Incredible! Cleanliness is superb. And the variety of slides will make anyone in the family leave with a smile! If you can, purchase the Timesaver H2O passes. Definitely worth the extra penny!

    Staff
The staff are very rude. Eye rolling, one teen even hollered to tell my grandson where the ride was, it was in front of him but she talked to him like he was 2 and he’s 16. I won’t be back.. they need to talk/ hire new staff

    Great Water Park
There were attractions that everyone in our group from ages 12 to 70 could enjoy. There was a great variety of water slides and the water coaster was awesome. They have the biggest and longest lazy river we have ever seen.

    Kids loved it, but busy!
Great time and very affordable. Was Extremely busy and long lines everywhere. It is July and a water park so understandable. A little expensive, but nothing crazy. Both kids enjoyed themselves and had a great time. Tip for families with small children though, go early as the later it gets the more busy it gets.

    Fun Day
We had a really nice time at splash country. I think my biggest complaints would be the incredibly hot pavement, and the way they run the lines. Our first experience was on a family ride. We were almost to the front and all of a sudden they let a flood of people (not fast pass users) in front of us. It was ridiculous. Secondly, they separate the lines into two separate lines on a bunch of rides so you have no idea how long the wait really is. Other than that, we had a very nice time. The park is a nice size and we enjoyed our visit.

    Good but needs improvement
This was our second visit to Splash Country. We had a wonderful visit and enjoyed the day BUT only because we decided to splurge and get the H2O speed passes. The crowd was absolutely unbelievable. I think that Splash Country must be going over capacity (I suspect Dollywood is as well). When we arrived and saw how packed it was, we talked and decided that speed passes were needed. I have been going to amusement parks my entire life (Carowinds, Cedar Point, Kings Island, Kennywood etc) and never once before did I feel the need to purchase speed passes....that should clue you in how bad the crowd was. Pros- Hubby bought a day pass online and got a free meal with it. Great bargain. Slides are very fun. We enjoy the friendly atmosphere. Cons- The lines to get into the bathrooms were very long and the bathrooms were nasty. And at 5pmish when we went to change, the ladies restroom had NO toilet tissue. Women had to take paper towels into the stalls with them. The lines for food were very, very long. We tried going to one stand and they had 3 windows, only two open, the line was not moving. We got fed up and went to another stand and it was still a 20 minute wait. The crowd was so heavy that there was NO WHERE in the shade to sit to eat. We ended up having to sit on a rock to eat lunch. There are no sprinklers to help keep walkways cool. We love Dollywood and Splash Country but it is looking like we will have to visit while school is in session in order to be able to enjoy ourselves. (That will create a whole other set of issues, but for the money we pay, we want max bang for our buck.)

Safe & Clean Water Park for 3 Generation Fun
GF bread for burger. Wave pool with youngest g-daughter, inner tube floating in endless river, water slide race competitions w/ g-daughters, water tubes, but especially the one in the dark. Safe to walk barefoot everywhere! Abundance of life guards and park personnel everywhere for help. They're on their toes!

Try to splurge on a fast pass
It gets crowded so be prepared. Next time, we will splurge on the fast passes because waits were long in some places. We walked into the Lazy River and Wave Pool, but for other ones, we had to stay in line for up to 30 minutes. We were quite comfortable and the wait was worth it but be prepared. Ironically, the sell beach accessories like Tevas, but not merchandise like magnets. Fun day.

    Reservations
I have am scheduled to go to splash country the end of August 2023. I am sure we will have an awesome time. HOWEVER. Be sure when you reserve a canopy you pay the extra $10 fee for "insurance". If you don't you have to cancel your reservation within 72 hours. There is NO refund for weather related issues. So if a severe thunderstorm suddenly pops up there is no getting a refund unless you have this "insurance". I assume even if they close the park but I could be wrong about that. On top of that you have to get the insurance when you make your purchase. I tried to call back to add it and was told I could not. Absolutely ridiculous. Guess we will be going no matter what the weather.

HOLY COW Splash Country is awesome. Let me say, first and foremost, that I'm not really a "water park person." So, when my son's grandparents offered to take us all to stay at the DreamMore Resort and go to Splash Country, I was appreciative, but I wasn't super excited. I WAS SO WRONG. Splash Country was an absolutely awesome experience for all ages in our group, and I can't wait to go back. A couple of tips to make your experience awesome:
1. Stay at the DreamMore resort. It's totally beautiful and has shuttles running constantly to the park.
2. If you have kids, get the family suite. It has a door between the king bed and the bunk beds, which was great.
3. Get the fast passes for the water park. If you don't get them, you need to expect to spend most of your time in line. Fast passes were awesome.
4. Rent a canopy; it's $75, but it means you have guaranteed shade, chairs, and a big locker.
5. Make sure you have enough time! We were there from 12pm until closing (6pm) and we didn't even SEE a third of the park. We ended up going the next day to catch up on everything we missed.

If you're debating whether or not to go, let me tell you now: just do it. It's a super-clean park with unbelievably friendly staff. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Amazing day out such fun. Only criticism is that for some rides there isn’t a balance between letting on fast track and general queues hence queued for one ride for almost an hour. Service wasn’t as good as in Dollywood theme park so check your food as I was served the wrong thing. Would advise buying fast pass on busier days but overall the average wait time was only about ten minutes. Boat rides and group rides are longer waits.

Rides are great and park is nice. I’m highly confused about their height requirements. My family frequents theme and water parks and this is the most strict height requirements I have ever seen. My children we’re having difficulties understanding why they were not allowed to go on rides they frequent at other parks. Probably best for very small children or children over 48” tall. My children between 42 and 47” were a bit bummed.

We had fun we went down like 4 slides got in the wave pool it was kinda boring went around lazy river few times water was freezing in there! Family of 4 cost us $240 just to get in $25 to park and $22 for a locker!! So yea expect to blow that $$$ we didn’t even eat there I can only imagine how much that would cost. Outrageous!! We can now say we’ve been and won’t be back. About $140 to get in would of been high enough and charging you to park is down right ridiculous. We stayed about 3 hours we didn’t see all the slides and stuff but we was done. Prices need to be lowered. Overrated.

Was having a great day. My preteen daughter was in wave pool and wave knocked another customer into her face. She was bleeding and no one seemed to care. We finally found the first aid (had to have an employee help us).. lifeguards didn’t seem to care that she was bleeding from her nose in wave pool When we got to first aid, the met said she appeared ok, gave her some ice and showed me where I could go buy advil if needed. Gave us a paper showing where urgent care or emergency room was. We left ( midday) and went to the urgent care to get X-ray. She had a busted eye socket, a crushed sinus, and a broke nose. No one seemed concerned at the splash park. Very upset at how unconcerned they were Didn’t get but one photo prior to her getting hurt. So I’m lacking on the photos there

Our family came to go to Dollywood theme park and splash pad both but since we ended up going for only one day and it was super hot out we decided to do the
Splash park only and we had a BALL! Can’t wait to come back and do two days so we can do both parks. I would definitely recommend anyone come here at least one time.

I don’t understand all of the hype about this place! It had about double the amount of people in there than they should have. The wave pool was so crowded that people couldn’t help but bump into each other. The live band did a great job but it was so loud that I couldn’t hear the person beside me. They had enough seating for about an eighth of the people in there. There were covered areas but maybe a total of 100 chairs in the shade and probably 5,000 people in the park so no seats available in the shade. They advertise and announce many times that they provide free water and remind you to stay hydrated. However, I found a young man giving out water one time during the entire day and I waited through the line for a cup of water. Went back to get another and he was gone. They will give you water at the little restaurant stands but you have to wait for an hour or two to get through the line. Myself and another person in our group were unable to stand in lines all day just to get water. I almost got in trouble with the dehydration. My 11 year old child has sensory processing disorder so the extremely loud music was not helpful. Also had trouble with the kiddie play set since every single water slide sprays water directly into their faces and most slides had a kid at the bottom spraying a big water gun in their face. The extremely long lines for the nasty bathrooms were especially miserable when you are already dehydrated and standing in the sun. Did I mention that it was miserable?
