- Paula WHarriman, Tennessee3 contributionsFamily funExactly what I would expect from a dinner show. We went to one of the 3:30 shows and it probably wasn’t as lively as one of the later shows but my son loved it. He got to eat with his hands and watch an entertaining show! As a veteran, I really enjoyed the patriotic theme. ❤️HI Paula, we're glad to hear you and your son had an entertaining time. We appreciate your service!Written 11 May 2023This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited April 2023Travelled with familyWritten 4 April 2023
- Beverly N1 contributionGreat fun!My husband I were at Dolly Parton’s Stampede, Pigeon Forge, TN, this past Tuesday (4/4/23) for our anniversary. We had been here once before, a very long time ago when it was the Dixie Stampede. We really enjoyed the show and dinner and will be sure to visit again on our next trip back to the Great Smokey Mountains.Hi Beverly, we're glad you had a good time. Thanks for making us part of your anniversary celebration.Written 11 May 2023This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited April 2023Written 7 April 2023
- Yak-AnglerGreensboro, North Carolina95 contributionsDolly's dinner stampede show.Very entertaining show with live animals a plenty. Horse racing, pig racing, steers, and bison. The performers include some members of the audience to participate in games while the host of the show sang and engaged the audience. Food portions were astronomical so definitely come hungry.Hi there! - goodwineandtravelHarrisburg, Pennsylvania291 contributionsFun and entertaining show !Lively, entertaining show. A fun evening. Very unique how everyone sits facing the action and the food is brought directly to you. Once you sit you never have to get up. Be aware, they only give you a fork. No knife. You are to eat with your fingers, picnic style. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking to be entertained !Hi there! Thanks for the great review. Doggie bags are even given out for those who want to take home leftovers. We especially loved the Red, White and Blue show. - Travelasmuchasyoucan3 contributionsDisorganised, but great show in partsExpected a lot but not as good as thought would be. Couldn't order tickets from UK so emailed them and they organised for me. Just got a parking space. Queued to collect tickets. No tickets. Disorganised and managed to get printed. Into saloon , told can go in arena at 5.30 for 6 o'clock show. Queued upstairs at 5.30, everyone then upstairs, squashed liked sardines or cattle, if any incident would have been disaterous. Finally allowed in about 6.15 to seating, waitress brought drinks, show began, wonderful start, loved the USA history show and video screen etc, waitress starting serving, very distracting, ordered gluten free, awful, got spoonful fruit cocktail and overcooked roll, show still on, waitress serving dinner, chicken first, started eating, very good, then sweetcorn, then potato etc etc all served separately, trying to eat while show continuing, then pudding, overcooked cookie ! I think as a 'Dolly'show it would have been far better to have her singing songs on screen while eating and very little 'Dolly', also when the story if book donations, again why not Dolly. Then there was a lot of audience participation, shouting, cheering, comedy and chicken and pig racing etc, more than needed as I had paid to see the show etc. Loved the end with all the glitz sparkle American stars and stripes, again not long enough, may be just as am English but love all the native american history and glitz show.Hi there! The talent of the young horseback riders is phenomenal. It had a little slapstick comedy from time to time, but all of it was fascinating and entertaining! Waiters and everyone there all had smiles, and we’re very friendly and cordial. Food was delicious too. Highly recommend!Hello! Thanks for the great review! My niece (6) and nephew (9) both LOVED this. The food was pretty good. The chicken was the best part. Service was also good. We were provided an ASL interpreter as requested so bonus points for accessibility.Hi Jackie! Thanks for the 5 star review! Fixed meal. Biscuit, whole chicken bird, pulled pork, potato bites. Coke products. Alcohol extra. Lightly seasoned.
Nice show. There are times the audience gets involved.

Loved the show including pre show entertainment. Wish the Clydesdales were on the horsewalk. That was disappointing. I also wish they would do away with the North and South labels. Needs to be refreshed into something new given the political atmosphere. It still could be a competition! What about predator/prey, urban/country, mountains/ocean, silver/gold, past/present (that’d be a cool technology show and how horses evolve with it as workers). There are so many better options.
I really appreciated that they offered a vegan meal for me. I wish they would have seasoned it though. Very bland vegetables and not great rice. It would be easy to swap the buttermilk biscuit for a dairy free biscuit, but I just didn’t get any bread - only more carrots 🤷🏻♀️ please have your chef consult with someone who knows vegan food. Would be easy and inexpensive to have better tasting options.

The show was outstanding! However the meal was disappointing. I ordered a vegetarian meal. The website says fire roasted vegetables with quinoa and rice. I basically got a plate of soggy vegetables. They tasted like a pack of frozen vegetables that were thrown in boiling water. They had absolutely no taste. I tried to put salt on them but all the salt packages looked like they were wet at one time. The salt was one big clump. I ended up putting barbecue sauce on the vegetables to make them edible. Far from the fire roasted vegetables that were advertised. The vegetable soup has chicken broth in it. If you are vegetarian I advise you to eat before going to the show so you don’t leave hungry.

The performers here are incredibly talented and they do put on a good show.
And clearly the venue has their system down to get you in and spend your money.
The dinner itself was ok, I thought the chicken was good. Everything else was kind of bland but that's what you get when you make it for the masses.
The horses and animals are very impressive and they sure do a good job reminding everyone how awesome America is.
I doubt I'd ever go back but I'm glad I went once.

I haven't been here in years and it's always a great show. Not always the same. Great dinner, even it was different. Not sure I like the chicken, coated with a lot of spice. Loved the creativity of the performers. Colorful costumes and lots of horses!

The show itself was excellent with many talented horse riders and performers. We thoroughly enjoyed every part and there is truly something for everyone. There was some audience participation including kids chasing chickens. There were also miniature horses and pigs racing. So much fun! The dinner was ok but not thrilled with the food. Everyone got a cornish hen which was gross to me and way too much for one person. They need to change that part! We were also served pulled pork, roasted diced potatoes, corn on a cob and a hot apple turnover. The dessert was delicious. Our server was very attentive and made sure to fill our glasses 4 times! At the end we were given large hot wet hand wipes which was a thoughtful gesture.

What an amazing experience! The host was fantastic and the performers were top notch. We saw the Christmas show and it was way better than I ever expected.
In addition to the amazing performance, the food was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. Started off with a biscuit and soup, followed up with a whole chicken, slice of pork, corn on the cob, and baked potato.
No matter what seat you get in the room would still be a great experience.
Definitely looking forward to going back to experience the show again.

Awesome dinner show! We were there during the Christmas holidays, and they were doing a Christmas show with competition between the North Pole and the South Pole. A lot of action throughout the show, featuring horses, pigs, chickens, goats, a live nativity, and great food. Great show!!

The site does not list the non-dairy menu. What is on the dinner menu for the non-dairy option?
amazed_12
New York City, New York, USA130 contributions
You need to call and reserve the non dairy meal as you reserve/pay for your seats. If you call, you can also use a AAA discount that isn't online (That I saw anyway). I called and they emailed the non-gluten menu so my daughter could look at it. So I'm sure they could do the same with non-dairy, but you need to tell them in advance. Very nice lady on the phone helped me to get the best seats available for our group's needs.
